The Department of Computer and Systems Sciences ( DSV) is one of the largest departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University. DSV conducts research and education in computer and systems sciences with several research and training specializations.

Work description
The work tasks consists of independently creating movies for: education, research documentation, and marketing. The work tasks are linked to the Sida funded project "ICT and Pedagogical Development" and the EU funded project "We.learn.it". The films created shall serve several purposes, for instance: a) as self-study material online, b) as Web marketing, c) as interactive elements in teaching, d) and as reporting and documentation of research and educational activities online in Sweden and abroad.
Education and experience
We are looking for a film maker who has extensive experience in producing drama and documentaries. Experience of film making in international environments and focusing on developing countries and different types of learning environments such as schools/universities, museums, and the Internet is especially meritorious. The work involves collaboration with scientists and teachers, creation of movie scripts, photographs, sound recording, sound designing, and editing. The work requires the management of professional camera equipment (eg. Canon 5D II , Canon XA10 ) and advanced movie editing software like: Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 , After Effects CS6 , Adobe Photoshop CS6, and Adobe Audition CS6 .The applicant should be able to independently manage all aspects of film production, from concept to edit all by him/herself. The application must include documented skills as described above and examples of previous film production.
Terms of employment
The employment is 70 % of full-time for 12 months. Start as soon as possible.
