Who we are
Volvo Cars and Geely Auto are combining their powertrain operations into a standalone business focused on next-generation hybrid systems and internal combustion engines.
To power the sustainable mobility of the future, a variety of energy sources will be needed. We plan to develop advanced, efficient powertrains for Volvo Cars, Geely Auto, Proton, Lotus, LEVC and Lynk & Co, as well as other OEMs.  Our high-performance solutions are already trusted all over the world. Today we power hundreds of thousands of vehicles across the globe. With facilities in China and Sweden, we expect to employ more than 10,000 employees across Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, IT and other support functions.

What will you do?                  
Your working day will consist in continuously report, analysis and share insight of the company’s financial state to internal and external stakeholders. You connect key business drivers with financial outcome and present in an easy-to-read way. You will lead the work of transforming the company strategy into a long-range financial plan.
You will be involved in and drive projects in order to develop reporting to be efficient and relevant by utilising BI-tools.
Also included in area of responsibility, are complete investigations and proactive controlling in order to identify and propose changes to current financial plans to optimize profitability, cashflow and control risks. In connection to this prepare and present business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business initiatives.

You are placed in Gothenbourg but the time will be spent also in the Skövde Plant and support our Chinese plant in Zhangjiakou. You will report to the PES Finance manager.

You and your skills
You take ownership in your tasks and have commitment for the delivery in combination with good prioritization skills for timely deliverables. In this role it is important to have excellent analytical skills and ability to take own initiatives and develop the role.

You are an experienced Controller within all or several relevant fields, described above, on your CV. Also great knowledge of financial statements, connect cause and effect and able to drive and communicate insights. 
Furthermore you have excellent computer skills and particularly in SAP, PowerBI, Excel modeling and PowerPoint.
You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
