What you will do:
•  You will play an integral part of the Portfolio Management Team, actively participating with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making through data-rich, cohesive analysis that provide objective business consultancy and financial guidance.
•  You will manage of team of 5-8 financial strategists and modelers that develop profitability models and forecasting tools to assess opportunities that improve Volvo’s portfolio value, while improving our customer’s experience and loyalty.
•  Collaborating closely with our stakeholders, you will drive high profile priority strategic projects and provide the analysis necessary to do so as the products evolve. As you do so, you will cultivate strong relationships with business leaders across the firm to drive alignment and support the transition from recommendation to implementation. There will be extensive cross-functional cooperation with Pricing, Offer, and other departments involved in the business development.
•  Your skills will help understand the challenge of assessing contract value and optimize the value chain in financial services in a new landscape of automotive financing that includes subscriptions, leases, and other financial products.
• As a manager, you will facilitate team alignment, remove blockers, and interface with stakeholders.

Additionally, you will:
- Responsible for the ideation and development of the financial modeling, including analysis of our funding partnerships
- Own the KPI reporting used for measuring and tracking performance
- Lead ad-hoc financial evaluation and strategic recommendations
- Prepare material and present findings to senior leadership teams

Who are you?
If you have a background in innovation, have experience in developing and implementing new financial products and services, are driven to create solutions based on financial insights and creativity, you will thrive in this role. We believe you are a person who thinks big at the system level and has worked extensively using insights from modelling and forecasting to drive financial solution innovation.
Specifically, we anticipate that you have solid experience in most if not all of the following:
• 8+ years of diversified financial management experience, including strategy, forecasting, process ownership, planning, including working with financial risk managers and portfolio managers.
• Experience in robust financial analysis, reporting, benchmarking or modelling and communicating the resulting complex insights in written and oral presentations.
• MBA, Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in mathematical/quantitative finance, financial econometrics, computer science, mathematics or another relevant.

Desirable qualities:
You have a passion for sustainable mobility, knowledge of the automotive and mobility industries, and understanding of international trends and conditions in financing of depreciable consumer goods and luxury goods sectors would be an advantage.  Experience in organizations undergoing digital transformation in finance, fintech, auto fintech, structured fleet financing, automotive aftermarket,
Consulting, investment, or technology leadership experience is a plus. Knowledge of securitization, credit analysis, collateral analysis, debt structuring, cash flow analysis, legal and regulatory requirements for designing compliant financing structures, structured finance. Experience assessing and evaluating creditworthiness of depreciable assets such as cars and other manufactured consumer goods
