Responsibilities
Iconovo develops ready-to-use inhalation products – inhaler devices and dry powder formulations for generic drug companies and pharmaceutical companies. Iconovo offers a full range of ready-to-use inhalation devices to be customized with customer’s substance. Today they have four proprietary inhaler platforms available for customization with inhalation powder and since the demand for their products is increasing, they now need to strengthen the competence within formulation. In this exciting role you will get the chance to work both in customer projects and in self-developed projects, in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Below are some of your responsibilities,
• Pharmaceutical work such as development/manufacturing of dry powder inhalation formulations
• Planning, design of experiments (DoE), evaluation of results and problem solving
• Develop formulations in small scale (up to 1 kg) that can be scaled up to industrial scale
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams (with project manager, analytical chemist and mechanical engineer) when working in customer projects
• Document work in lab journals and write internal and external reports
• Present results for colleagues and customers
• Scale-up support to customers

Iconovo now has 27 co-workers, many with a long and unique experience of developing Inhaled medicinal products. You will be joining a team of three Formulation Scientist colleagues that together have + 40 years of experience in dry powder formulation work for inhalation, and are they are eager to welcome a new colleague to the team.

Working hours
Full-time. Start day as agreed.

Qualifications
You must have an academic degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science or similar discipline, e.g., Chemistry. We are looking for you who have at least four years of experience from formulation in the pharmaceutical industry. You need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written since all documentation is in English. To be relevant for this role you need to be resident in the EU.

A Ph.D. or other relevant research experience is considered an advantage. Experience within spray drying is also seen as meritorious.
