Global Product Manager

As Global Product Manager – Air Tools and Air Line Infrastructure, your primary task will be to manage and develop our product offer and identify new growth opportunities for the Metal Fabrication segment in GI (General Industry Division). You will be part of our global marketing organization reporting to BM Metal Fabrication.


In the role as a Global Product Manager your overall mission will be to secure an attractive and profitable offer for the products and the segment, you will work in close collaboration with other product managers and together with R&D you have the responsibility of the product’s complete life cycle.


You will be the voice of the customer to ensure that their needs are meet and that the underlying drivers and trends of the market are transferred into the R&D, marketing and sales processes. In close collaboration with Customers Centers, our channel partners and end customers you will also drive and coordinate marketing and customer related activities.


Other parts of your responsibility will be to:
Coach and support local product managers and sales engineers
Manage the product portfolio
Work to develop and maintain our distribution base for the portfolio
Conduct product, application and segment trainings
Drive product launches
Develop and maintain knowledge of competitors product portfolio

What we expect from you
We are looking for an individual with technical interest used to taking responsibility, with an understanding of applications within the segment and sub segments (Mining and Rail). Experience from working in an international environment and having prior roles including product and/or project management will also be to your advantage.


You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Marketing. You have a good level of English, written and spoken, whereas an additional language is highly valued.


The role has the ownership of the product portfolio on a global level as well as taking care of the daily business. Therefore, it is important to have high flexibility and being able to prioritize specific activities at a rapid pace. You have the capacity to execute your strategy into specific goals and results. We would like you to contribute in building a team spirit where sharing knowledge is vital.
