Westermo is looking for a Hardware Designer to Västerås
As a Hardware Designer at Westermo you will be part of the R&D hardware team and work with hardware design on new products. You work in different projects, normally from specification to product release and serial deliveries. You have a key position within the projects, designing and verifying the hardware. You also work close together with other parts of the organization, as software development, production test, type test and production. Part of the role is also to work as technical responsible for released products. In this role you will be part of solving technical issues and also approve hardware changes.

 

Qualifications and personal skills
We are looking for a person who has more than two years experience of hardware design with main focus on digital design. You have experience of design for test and manufacturing and have been working close to production and production test. We are working in Mentor tools including Hyper Lynx simulation and experience with these tools is an advantage. You are used to handle priorities and deadlines and also documenting your work. You have social skills and like to work together with other designers and departments. You have a master of science in electrical engineering or similar and good skills in writing and speaking Swedish as well as English.
