Job description
Head of Operations and Stable Manager at Christinelund Dressage’s state-of-the-art dressage facility just outside of Helsingborg, Sweden.

At Christinelund Dressage we train and develop dressage horses to Grand Prix level. We run a sustainable business and our focus is the well-being of our horses. We work as a team and are driven by a passion for excellence – with attention to detail and a dedication to quality but, above all, with a love for horses.

We are now looking for an experienced leader with a background in international equestrian sport to take Christinelund Dressage to the next level.

Responsibilities
As Head of Operations and Stable Manager at Christinelund Dressage, you will be responsible for running and developing the operational activities in close collaboration with our Head Rider Sofie Lexner. You will have responsibility for our people, budget and business planning as well as providing your team with support and direction in their daily work. Christinelund Dressage’s operations and brand are under development and it will be your responsibility to further develop them strategically and sustainably. 

The team consists of nine people that report to you. You are part of the Investment Group together with Christinelund Dressage's Head Rider and the Chair of the Board. Together you will make strategic decisions regarding the purchase and sale of horses. You report directly to the Chair of the Board.

Working hours
A dedicated full-time position with flexible working hours, whilst maintaining a commitment to availability and presence on site. It offers an opportunity to reside in a house on the grounds in beautiful surroundings.

Qualifications
We are looking for the following qualifications:


Documented operational management experience including of personnel responsibility
Business manager experience (budget responsibility, business planning and administration)
Experience of a leading role in international equestrian sport 
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Good horsemanship and the ability to recognise quality and potential in horses
A valid driving license

You will have high integrity and good leadership skills, as well as experience of building and leading strong teams. You are down to earth, inspire confidence, build trust and believe in   being a role-model for your team. You are a team player and have the ability to prioritise and meet high demands on your availability.

It is advantageous to have experience from international dressage operations. It is also of merit if you have experience of working with sustainability.
