Prototyping Sweden, within R&D at Ericsson AB, produces Test Beds, early prototypes (PoC and PoP) and other demonstrators to validate and demonstrate new technology in cooperation with Ericsson Research, DURA S&T, PDU, and Product Management. With strategic capabilities, as e.g. SMA, Wire-bonding, Analysis lab, 3D printing/scanning, CNC machines, and Test chambers, Prototyping Sweden provides a One Stop Shop to enable innovation and Technology leadership for Ericsson. Radio PIM Sweden is also driving the Advanced Engineering Program within Supply, coordinating research and pre-development of future production and test technologies by utilizing total PIM capabilities.

We are now recruiting for the position as Operational Buyer within the Logistics & Build Office section at Prototyping Sweden. In this position, you will report to the head of Logistics & Build Office.

About the role

Your role is to purchase material and monitor deliveries to secure material availability for prototype builds. You will also be responsible for purchasing of miscellaneous items as required by projects and line organization. Sending out RFQ: s and communicating supply status to stakeholders are important tasks. You will also work with inventory management and perform stock follow-up and optimize inventory turn-over rate.
You will work in close collaboration with planners, project managers, designers, suppliers, and quality functions. We expect you to actively contribute in the continuous development of the operational buyer function and the ways of working.

About you

To succeed in the role as Junior Operational buyer, you should have well developed analytical skills and being comfortable taking own initiatives. A substantial driving force to actively follow-up invoices and orders and solve problems to secure on time deliveries of material is essential.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Good English and Swedish skills, written and spoken, are a pre-requisite for the position, as is a good general IS/IT competence level.

We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics and skills. It is considered beneficial to have experience and proven competence within the following areas:
• University degree in Logistics or equivalent working experience.
• IT systems: SAP ONE, Microsoft Office, Contract, Eliza, Piwin, Sourcing Workbench, Global Forecast Tool.
• Procurement and distribution processes.
• Commercial contexts and working with external partners.
• Supply Chain & Supply Process Knowledge.
• Lean theory and methodology.

About the employment

The assignment as an Junior Operational Buyer is a consultant assignment with start date soonest. Project period are 6 months with the opportunity for extension.
