Industrial PhD in Solar

MG Sustainable Engineering AB started in 2014. Based in Uppsala, Sweden MG specializes in the field of Renewable Energy, mainly solar thermal and photovoltaic energy. The candidates needs to understand the basics solar thermal and photovoltaic energy. Solar installation experience is highly desirable.
1. A Mechanical Engineering background is highly preferable.
2. English will be the working language of the project. Attention to detail is important. The ability to write scientific publications, and the capacity to explain concepts in a clear and concise manner is essential.
3. The candidate needs to be organized and able to manage MG's participation in a large complex research project with many participants and different interests at stake.
4. It is essential that the candidate is driven, be able to work independently, and look for support whenever needed.
5. The candidate needs to be able to manage the deadlines and have the vision to be able to plan ahead to ensure that all activities are successfully carried out.
6. Experience in writing grant applications is highly valued
7. Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, CAD (including modular 3D design), ANSYS, and Comsol.
