Nimbus Boats Sweden is expanding and is looking to hire an Interior Yacht Designer to their office in Långedrag in Gothenburg.

Nimbus Group has a strong reputation and owns seven different brands including Nimbus. The boat market is expanding and so is Nimbus Boats Sweden in Gothenburg.

About the job
As an interior yacht designer you will be working mainly with the interior design for Nimbus boats. You will be working in the early stages of the product development process as well with production drawings and evaluating design in production and sea trials. Typical design work is for example to make design concepts in 3D, set up the furnishings, light and textiles in the boat.

You will work closely with colleagues in the Product development team in a smaller office located near the ocean in Långedrag in Gothenburg. The role also involves close collaboration with the production sites in Sweden, Finland and Poland (you will have close connection with purchasers, product managers and brand managers etc.).

Nimbus Group has approximately 350-400 employees and works closely with partners. When working at Nimbus you will establish a broad professional network within the Nimbus Group. In this role you will be working in the office in Gothenburg with six colleagues.

Candidate profile
We are looking for you with a Bachelor or Master's degree within design, product development or equal. For this role you require 10 years experience from working with product development and/or design or interior design from another industry which could be equal to interior design for boats.

Experience from working specifically with interior design for boats is an advantage.

You will need to have experience from working with a 3D software such as SolidWorks or Catia. You are also familiar with programs like Adobe illustrator and/or Photoshop as well as Rhino or equal program/programs.

As a person you are a positive team-player who enjoys working in a broad role with a broad spectrum of tasks within product development focusing on the design.
