IT Security and Compliance Manager - Design & Planning Automation

IT Security and Compliance Manager - Design & Planning Automation

Arbetsbeskrivning

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and new technology - we drive important shifts and are advancing the world through our engineering. Right now, we’re accelerating the growth of our digital solutions as we’ve introduced a new division into the Sandvik family – Design & Planning Automation, a proud member of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF).

Safety is our top priority – no matter what – and this naturally also applies for digital solutions and cybersecurity. We’re now looking for an IT Security and Compliance Manager who’s ready to keep us two steps ahead as we build our digital defense and lift the importance of cybersecurity in all aspects of business.

To give you a glance of our reality, you’ll be joining a team dedicated to make Sandvik an industrial technology frontrunner. It’s a place where we constantly take advantage of rapid technological advances and innovations that boost productivity and energy efficiency. We also enhance resource utilization, increase safety and help improve sustainability - all through the opportunity of digitalization. To support us, we’re joining forces with our industry focused R&D organization and we’ve got a modern innovation lab to explore our solutions in a real live setting. Our main hub is the new and modern office located at Gasverken in Stockholm, but we’re flexible and you can work from anywhere, as long as it meets our security protocol.

About the job
You’re responsible for protecting both customer and company information and securing our IT infrastructure. This means designing and implementing a strong security plan for our business – in line with the overall security strategy for Sandvik Group – and making sure we minimize the risk of potential security threats or breaches, as well as understand their possible impact on our operations. You’re our gateway to the wider organization in IT security compliance matters, and an important representative at the Sandvik Group IT council. By close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, you ensure that upcoming security concerns are identified, understood and rapidly managed, and you drive a non-stop development of security standards and best practices.

In this ever-changing field, you must stay updated on applicable laws and regulations, and you curiously investigate the market and cybersecurity trends to bring us solutions that meet the needs of evolving technology. Other items on your agenda include security reviews and analysis, risk assessments and identification of gaps and dependencies, where you also propose the best solutions to address them. Your tasks are both strategical and practical as you provide our management with relevant security information and progress, as well as take part in important IT projects and enable security awareness, transparency and audits. You also contribute in risk analysis as part of M&A processes, and you establish policies, drive improvements and create further collaboration with teams from acquired companies and technologies.

About you
You need a broad background within IT and a genuine interest in modern security practices in a cloud environment. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in IT or Computer Science, and you’ve been working for at least five years in a software technology setting – preferably connected to the IoT and manufacturing industry. We consider a CSSLP, CISSP or GIAC certification as a bonus, and we believe that you’re experienced in ISO 27001 and in risk assessments and stakeholder interactions that involve GDPR and legal counsel. As we’re a global business, you also need to be fluent in written and spoken English.

For this job, we think that you’re highly analytical and organized, while at the same time very communicative and outgoing. You like a thorough problem-solving and you’re skilled in sharing your insights with others. As you speak the language of developers, and also understand the basic of coding, you easily create trusting collaborations and you inspire a strong culture of security awareness and security by design.
