Journalist researcher with interest in business

We are looking for a journalist researcher with special interest in business economics. A vital part of the job is to work with media relations and support our head of media relations. Another important part of the job is to collect data about our company?s performance and to gather feature news about our company. You will then prepare and package this for specific target groups. This position gives a very good overview of our company and extensive contacts both outside and inside Volvo Trucks. Your team spirit is very important, as our team shares the view that teamwork delivers the best results. Main tasks You will support our head of media relations with producing and publishing press material, Q&A policies, developing our media presence on the internet and handling media contacts. In this capacity you will co-operate with our international PR network to co-ordinate local media issues in different countries in the best way possible. You will also support our department with the production of presentations, board reports, retrieving and compiling statistics from databases, etc. With this information you will together with your colleagues formulate strong messages for both internal and external target groups. You will also play an important role in developing our strategic business communication. Profile: Degree in journalism. Documented experience 3-5 years as journalist researcher. Deep understanding of business economics. Well-developed analytical/strategic capacity. You associate comfortably with journalists and know what they need from you to do their jobs. Team oriented personality. Good writing skills. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish. Skilled with social media, internet and the Microsoft Office package. Familiar with the conditions of a large corporation in the global arena. International experience. Above all, you are passionate about what you do and have a strong desire to develop yourself.
