Jun. Financial Application Developer

We are looking for new software developer to join SunGard FRONT ARENA, a leading provider of software for trading and risk management systems.You will work within the Product Development department which is responsible for developing, packaging, testing, and documenting FRONT ARENA product for sales, trading and risk management.You will be part of a smaller development team of about 10 people where flexibility and adaptation are key skills.You are expected to take own initiatives and actively search for new ways of improving the solution both technically and functionally. We offer a highly challenging software development position within a multinational company and your work will be done in close contact with our customers, domestic as well as international.We are looking for candidates who possess a solid academic background in software engineering.Preferably, you also have some experience of financial instruments.The ideal applicant for this position will show: Strong academic merits coupled with a keen interest in finance.Experience of basic software development concepts like client/server, object oriented programming, GUI design etc.Programming knowledge in C/C++ and preferably Python, SQL.Possession of strong skills in the areas of analytics, communication in English and interpersonal relations.This position is especially suitable for applicants who have recently completed their academic studies or with some working experience from the software/finance industry.
