Junior Compliance Officer

Group Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the bank and our employees comply with external and internal regulations. We do this by controlling, evaluating and reporting insufficient regulatory compliance to the management and the board.

About the job Swedbank is currently on a change journey to improve how we work with compliance across the bank. The program is driven from the Group Compliance unit. Your daily work will include conducting analysis with the aim to create compliance solutions for the future, problem solving on e.g. solution trade-offs, and creating and delivering written output in close collaboration with senior experts. The tasks at hand will range from organizational design choices, risk management topics (e.g. controls, risk reporting, risk assessment), establishing a new compliance data plan, and overall management of the transformation program.

You will be a vital part of the further development of the Compliance function and be given great opportunities to grow and learn in an exciting environment in one of Sweden's largest banks.

As a Compliance Officer you will work across all the banks business areas, which means that you will work with a wide range of exciting questions. You will work independently as well as together with colleagues within the Compliance function and report to one of the respective business area heads of compliance in Stockholm.

You are expected to contribute both individually and together within the team, keeping the best of the banks interest in mind. You will both advise and monitor the business in/of their daily operation. Furthermore, you will train the business and take active part of our risk-based compliance planning. Together with your colleagues you will be challenged to develop our processes and ways of working in order to reach further excellence.
