Kockums stands for leading-edge, world-class naval technology - above and below the surface.We design, build and maintain submarines and naval surface vessels that incorporate the most advanced stealth technology.Other successful products include Mine Countermeasure Systems, Working boats and Fast Ferries in our world leading composite technology.We are based in Karlskrona, Malmö and Muskö in Sweden.Kockums is part of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems.The Systems Engineering Management -Business Unit Surface Ship The Systems Engineering Management department has a wide responsibility as for both technical and management processes and tools, such as the Systems Engineering and CAD processes and the Design DataBase, CAD and Planning tools.To guide and standardize the proposal and project work, we are also responsible for setup of databases with the customer and stakeholder requirements, Product Breakdown Structure, the Work Breakdown Structure and the Document Breakdown Structure.Main accountabilities *Participate in proposal / projects supporting and advising the manager and the team on Systems Engineering issues and selection of technological and architecture / information structure solutions.*In close cooperation with managers, super users and team members, identify needs for further training and conduct training programs within the Systems Engineering area.*Generally support the identification and integration of all major engineering activities.*Communicate and use methods and best practices for conducting requirement analysis, functional analysis, synthesis, verification and control according to the standardized systems engineering process.*Develop, document and communicate to relevant unit's alternative product, project and process information structures and technical solutions.Prepare specifications / guidelines for performing the different sub tasks of the Systems Engineering process.*Keep update and inform about the company's tools and systems related to Systems Engineering and proposal / project management, which comprise of the Design Database, CAD and Planning tools including their integration. Qualifications Requirements *Minimum 10 years working experience with a wide range of qualified engineering work.*Minimum 5 years of working as Systems Engineer in a project based organisation.*In depth knowledge and experience from Systems Engineering standards (IEEE, EIA).*In depth knowledge and experience from working with Systems Engineering and Requirement Management programs.*Experience in designing complex technical systems *Experience in change management *Good knowledge about and experience from process oriented work methods and system implementation.*Experience of designing complex technical systems *Experience of leading change projects *Fluent oral and excellent written Swedish and English *Good knowledge of Office programs.Meritorious *Higher education in economics and law Project management experience *Experience of Naval work *Leadership Experience *German language and experience of different cultural collaborations *Knowledge of "Design To Cost" aspects.
