Appland AB provides “Netflix for Mobile Games”. The consumer gets free access to the best mobile games in the world, but we have removed all ads and in-app purchases, and instead the consumer pays a monthly fee. The service is delivered to 80 mobile operators and handset manufacturers worldwide.
The Company was incorporated 2011 in Gothenburg, Sweden and was acquired by OnMobile Global Limited during 2018.

About the Position
Appland works with regional partners all over the world. Our partners typically work with operators and/or handset manufacturers to acquire consumers to our Games Services. Your job is to manage the existing partnerships, as well as create new partnerships. Internally, you will be working with both finance and product/project management. You will report directly to the CEO of Appland.


Yes, but what will I do more in detail?
We are constantly breaking new ground and you will get the opportunity to have a great impact!
Below are some tasks you might be involved in:
You will likely have meetings with Asia during the morning, Europe/Africa around noon and Americas in the afternoon. Many meetings will be about understanding our partners’ challenges and expansion plans. You will provide sales enablement, strategic marketing support, and develop the strategy about how we can make them more successful.
You will present the partners’ requirements to the product management for cost estimation and together with the CEO offer the partner software customizations to meet their need.
Summarize monthly revenue reporting per partner and deliver to Appland’s finance. You are comfortable interpreting, calculating and reporting KPI metrics in Excel.
Talk to partners if finance escalates overdue invoices.
Possibly handle our B2B marketing campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)
Daily stand-up meeting with Appland’s CEO, finance and games acquisition.
Appland is a team effort and dependent on your previous work experience and business performance, you might take on more responsibilities.



Sounds amazing! What skills are needed?
A genuine interest in sales of mobile gaming, software products and/or cloud services.
5+ years work experience in international sales.
A curious mind and a quick learner.
Great communicator, great listener, and great team member.
You will work mainly from Gothenburg but must occasionally be able to travel also. (at the moment we mainly work from home because of Covid-19)
Fluent in English.
Graduate or MBA / Master’s
