We are now looking for a Manager Digital Factory!

Description

ME Digital Factory group, that you will be responsible for, is incorporated in our ME department which cover Press, Body, Paint, GA. The whole ME department is a bigger unit, inside the Manufacturing organization.

Our main responsibility is to secure manufacturability requirements, for all upcoming programs and support the different areas with Digital Factory knowledge.

We also participate in international projects and your position will complement existing skills and resources, and will report to the Director Manufacturing Engineering.

The role as Manager Digital Factory involves:

- Coordinate and manage daily work of NEVS plants (Trollhättan and other plants) over time.
- Be a global leader for our ME IT & PLM strategy.
- Main task is to be part of NEVS IT & PLM strategy with focus and support on items related to Manufacturing Engineering activities. Which includes to be part of Benchmarking, Continues improvement, Planning & follow up.
- The role will be to manage and develop our Digital Factory roadmap.
- Develop processes and routines for the working environment at the department
- Define, maintain, develop and continuously improve process- and product development procedures, guidelines and methodologies in the area of manufacturing engineering virtual tools.
- Responsible for resource planning, recruitment and prioritization and to develop staff and handle personnel related issues within the team.
- Responsible for budget within group and items related to virtual tools.
- Anchor the assignment's decisions, development and status with the responsible management.
- Develop support competence, for use of ME IT toolbox. 

We are looking for someone who has:

- University Education in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Management experience within automotive industry, min. 5 years
- Experience in Cad modelling/Drawings (Experience with AutoCAD, knowledge in NX & Teamcenter, is a merit).
- Experience to drive different projects, within the automotive industry, with focus on manufacturing/manufacturing engineering area.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish/English, both verbally and written form
- Ability to travel
- Driver license B

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
