We are now looking for a Merchant Risk spcecialist to shape, assist and lead the development of our Merchant acquiring business from a risk standpoint. As a Merchant Risk Specialist you’ll join an ambitious and a dynamic team where you will be able to see your ideas and recommendations make business impact in real-time.

Main Responsibilities:
Develop and improve financial models to be used in underwriting and approval strategies
Develop and improve monitoring processes and routines to create a safe and secure payment ecosystem for our Merchants
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Fraud team, Product Owners, Commercial, Customer Support and Compliance to find the best approach for enabling business while assessing Merchants
Work closely together with Tech to develop and assist with overall Credit risk infrastructure
Form, monitor and develop risk and performance metrics and reporting packages for the credit risk area. You’ll also identify strengths and weaknesses in our existing credit strategy and formulate hypotheses to improve portfolio performance
Ensure regulatory compliance, such as control of compliance with AML/KYC and credit assessment
Act as a go-to person and support in-house for merchant risk related questions
Work proactively to improve our tools, methodologies and reporting to support business decisions

+2 years experience from working with Credit Risk and/or Risk Management

Meriting:
Previous experience from the Payment or Banking industry
Fluent in Swedish
A relevant educational background in mathematics, statistics, economics, business, computer science or similar
