Packaging Solution Engineer – BA Living Room

In this role, as Packaging Solution Engineer (PSE), you will develop, document and improve the optimal packaging solution for BA Living Room. The guiding principles for your work is all aspects of Democratic Design and total value chain throughout the product lifecycle. This is done in close cooperation with product developers, engineers, suppliers and store co-workers, to ensure that the solutions will work all the way from the supplier to the customer. The purpose of the packaging is to protect the product and to display it in a selling way.

As a Packaging Solution Engineer you will:
Secure and verify that the solution is meeting all packaging requirements
Keep the documentation updated and correct according to IKEA Documentation Guideline and standards
Find packaging improvement potentials and give input to action plan
Capturing learnings, sharing knowledge, and communicating in BA and Matrix dimension


The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden.
