Planning & Coordination Engineer to Scania in Södertälje

Arbetsbeskrivning

Job description
Are you a team player with good communication skills? Would you like to be a part of a world-leading company moving into a future driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system? Are you looking for a position where you can grow within the company? This is a great opportunity for a highly-motivated individual seeking a challenge, who has the drive and ambition to become a leader.

We are now looking for an engineer to be a part of a team at the Planning & Coordination Office (RSOX) at Scania.

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Customized Truck Development (RS) develops and secure order management for customer adaptations as well as develops complete trucks including support to bodybuilders. RS work closely with other functions within R&D, purchasing, production, market and aftermarket.
Planning & Project Office (RSO) is responsible for project management, planning of customer requests (PRSs) and order management. The RSO section has about 40 employees, divided into three groups.

The demand for customized solutions is constantly increasing. Due to this, the RSOX planning function needs to be expanded. You will be an important cornerstone in the group consisting of three employees.

Responsibilities
Your assignment will be to coordinate customer specific order requests from our global distributors within Scania's industrial system.

The customer requests are distributed cross-functionally in a web-based evaluation system. An industrial answer is then compiled which forms the basis of the marketing function that creates a quote for the customer.

The planning team is also responsible for "specifications adjustment", which means that ordered standard vehicles become special vehicle (s-orders) by changing the order specification according to approved customer requirements. The above will also be part of your work.

In the long run, the position can also be developed towards a certain type of assignment management.

Continuous improvement, challenging processes and working methods are a natural and important part of the work. It is a prerequisite for being able to deliver what our customers demand with high quality and with as short a lead time as possible

Qualifications
To be successful in the role we believe you have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

As a person, you have good initiative and drive. You can easily communicate in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Furthermore, you are unpretentious, flexible, structured, stimulated by working at a high pace with several different issues in parallel. Setting requirements and have them followed up is an important part when "time to market" is of high priority. You are also a good team player who actively contributes to the team's cooperation and, if necessary, resource balancing.

It is an advantage if you have broad experience from working in several different Scania organizations.

For us, it is important that all competence and skills in the labor market are utilized. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity.

Application
