Arbetsbeskrivning

Department of Economics
The Department of Economics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) invites applications for a two-year Post-Doctoral position to join its research group “Agricultural and Food Economics”. This post-doc position will be associated with a research theme related to farmers’ uptake of sustainable agricultural practices, and will have a focus on drivers of uptake (including behavioural drivers) and thus on the supply of produce from sustainable systems. There will also be a focus on the economic consequences of uptake. In particular, the post-doctoral researcher will work in one of the work packages of Mistra Food Futures, which is an externally funded interdisciplinary research programme conducted in collaboration with academic as well as non-academic partners. The programme vision is to create a science based platform to enable transformation of the Swedish food system into one that is sustainable, resilient and that delivers healthy diets.

You may also be expected to supervise students’ theses at all levels and to contribute to other teaching activities within the research area of the group.
