Job Summary:
Are you interested in being part of our digital success? Ericsson has identified 10 digital capabilities which will significantly enhance our customers’ experience and our end to end operational efficiency. For each digital capability, we are establishing dedicated cross-functional Agile teams – known as Lighthouses – which will work in an agile, iterative way to develop and deploy new capabilities using a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach. We are committed to scaling, building, and industrializing these capabilities across the Ericsson organization to accelerate our business transformations. Leveraging on technology like AI, Machine Learning and Automation, we will capitalize more on our data and change the way we work to introduce more agility and speed in our end-to-end flow.
We are looking for strongly determined and passionate Product Owners who can manage diverse and cross-functional teams and support the Lighthouse Manager in promoting new digital ways of working in our line organizations to make our customers and employees lives easier and more value adding. Activities of a Product Owner include:
Defining the vision of a global solution and scoping the capability work using a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach, breaking down the MVP scope into implementation tasks (user stories),
Working closely with end users/ customers via OMNI Network Channel program to understand their needs, managing deliveries on a daily basis and ensuring the MVP scope goes in the right direction, and being relentlessly focused on delivering results through execution and adoption.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering results, maximize value from a customer perspective, deliver business impact through executing on specific Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), break down OKRs into concrete tasks, and prioritize activities of the team.

Responsibilities of a Product Owner:
Maximize the product value from end user/ customer perspective to continuously improve the OKRs defined for a specific MVP
Define MVP(s) functionality and accept results of Sprint demo meetings
Drive rollout/ deployment activities in close alignment with involved BAs/MAs/GFs
Structure MVPs into work packages covering all relevant changes to business processes, ways of working/ capability operating model, deployment and systems functionality
Detail out work packages into concrete tasks/ user stories (for systems)
Define cycle and Sprint backlog entries (for example, activities, user stories)
Prioritize and sort backlog items based on vision and overall product scope
Communicate the backlog to the whole team during cycle- and Sprint planning meetings


Product Owner basic qualifications:
University degree/ MBA in Business or Engineering/ ICT
Proven track record of strong execution and delivering results in complex projects/ programs
Experienced in customer and stakeholder management in complex and diverse business environment


Product Owner preferred qualifications:
Good understanding of the market, customers and their challenges/ opportunities
Extensive knowledge of Ericsson organization and ways of working
Experience in Agile ways of working
