Scania and the transport industry are experiencing a big shift towards Intelligent, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. Not only will there be no drivers in the vehicles, they will be coordinated by intelligent planning and scheduling algorithms making the efficiency and utilization rate of the transports go up. This means taking a wider perspective than the single vehicle and focusing on coordinating a fleet of selfdriving vehicles with our cloud services, where the Simulation team contributes by providing a simulated environment of multiple vehicles, to test the whole control system.

The role
We are looking for a Product owner for team Simulation who now consists of three developers in a satellite team. The team work very closely to Scania by providing Simulation solutions for the offboard control system. You will lead this team on a daily basis, and cooperate with other product owners and teams within Autonomous Transport Solution systems, in order to support them with a simulated environment.

We work in a microservice based architecture deployed in Amazon Web Services that is developed through a strong team effort and in collaboration with other teams and partners.

The presence of constant change gives you great opportunities to influence the daily work of the team and its part within the Autonomous Transport Solution system.

Qualifications
At Scania as a whole and within the team, we strive for a broad mix of experience, skills and personalities. We are looking for a humble team player with an open and collaborative mindset and with a willingness to learn and share.

We think you have a technical experience within the area and have worked as a developer for some years. You enjoy having one foot in technology and another in cooperation and leadership. You either have experience of product ownership or other leading position. In your role you enjoy facilitating collaboration, as a person you are a team player and not afraid to take the lead and prioritize work.

Experience within Simulation is meritorious, as well as cloud development in AWS. You have experience of, or is interested to learn Python, Linux and Docker.
