Background 

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and power solutions to a supplier of complete and sustainable electrified transport solutions.  

Charging is a vital part in the eco system of electrified transports, and we need you to use your skills and experience to make the Scania charging solutions for our customers as smart, efficient and economical as possible, in the same way as our trucks, buses, power solutions and connected services are today.

We are now building a team with focus on charging solutions to make this possible and this is why we need you!

The role

You will be responsible to understand and formalise the technical demands and projections for various internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, our customers, business units, R&D, our charging partners, energy suppliers and our strategic departments in the area of charging solutions. Your work and knowledge will be a base for decisions and future strategies within the area of charging solutions. 

You will also have the responsibility of driving projects and topics around strategic product planning, which includes preparing strategic long-term work by analyzing trends and transferring these into demands and roadmaps in close cooperation with the other parts of the organization.

You will work closely with our Product managers and the Business development managers in our charging solution teams and your work will be important in a number of strategic decisions. 

Your profile 

Charging is a relative new area for Scania so we are looking for a person who is eager to learn new things and develop. You have great communication skills and don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves. We want you to have the ability to put things in a bigger perspective and to understand what is relevant, how it could affect the future and that you can get other’s enthusiastic about new ideas. 

We think you have some technical and electricity knowledge and we also want you to have knowledge about Scania’s products and services as well as our customers, and that you can manage expectations in a complex environment with many stakeholders.

We belive that you have experience from previous work within R&D or Sales & Marketing or other relevant areas and that you are a team-player looking to make a real difference for the future of Scania, understanding that we will be many that have to contribute to get there.
