Project manager / Projektledare till konsultuppdrag på SAAB

About the role

You will be a part of Sourcing & Production in Gothenburg wich is a delivery unit formed of around 400 employees, where all of Radar Solutions sourcing and supply activities are gathered in one organizational unit. You will join the Surface Group at Projects & Planning within Sourcing and Production Gothenburg, Saab Surveillance.

You will be a sub project manager for a development and/or serial production delivery project within Sourcing & Production. The areas that are included in the sub projects are industrialization, planning, sourcing and manufacturing. You will also be working close to design in order to ensure that the product is producible.

Your tasks as a sub project manager will vary but usually include:

* Planning, managing and follow up activities in collaboration with the project team to be able to reach milestones and goals according to time schedule and cost, both in short and long term.
* Creating and updating the time activities and resources in Antura projects
* Executing the sub project within the approved budget and once every month presenting the financial status to the project manager
* Writing a monthly status report to the project manager for general status, risks, cost and time deviations
* Ensure that everyone knows his or her role and assignment within the team
* Raise and communicate potential risks, delays, cost transfers and mitigations to minimize any negative impact
* Provide an effective and creative environment for the team
* Communicate with other sub projects to coordinate dependencies and deliveries



Your profile

We are looking for a result oriented project leader who has a genuine interest in creating well working project teams. Collaboration and communication skills are essential components to solve the challenges that you and your team face.

Formally, we think that you have:

* Sc. /M.Sc. degree and technical understanding.
* At least 3-5 years' work experience within relevant roles.
* It is a merit if you have previous experience with Antura and/or IFS or similar systems.
* Previous leader experiences is a great advantage


As a person, you are communicative and open in your ways of working, and with a high collaborative ability. You have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written. You are agile and do not mind keeping a high pace when needed. You plan the work effectively together with the team, you are organized and prioritize well to keep deadlines. You have the ability to independently initiate, drive and make decisions. You are interested in developing with Saab in order to move yourself, our customers and the company forward.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
