Quality Architect

Quality Architect @ Apica
As a Quality Architect @ Apica, you will be the voice promoting Quality best practices, standards and process improvements within Apica with clear, established and published KPIs. Working with stakeholders, you will help set a clear vision that aims at maximizing the effectiveness and value of quality driving practices and testing activities in an overall effort to deliver software and services that hold up to the Apica Quality standards.

What you will do?

· You will define and own the product development quality strategy within a Quality Assistance setup.
· You will work as a supporting and mentoring function for Software Engineering teams executing initiatives in how to address and achieve the quality objectives most effectively.
· You will improve the quality of our processes and practices and assist engineering teams in the adoption of these.
· Create and support backlog initiatives and tickets needed to improve quality related tooling and functions.
· Organize and deliver training and coaching of Software and Quality Engineers.
· Promote professional implementation of Agile testing and quality driving principles.
· Help define and achieve Quality related OKRs.

Who are you?

· Highly motivated individual passionate about software quality and agile testing practices.
· Degree in Computer Science or relevant focus.
· 5+ years of professional experience delivering Software.
· Experience with quality relevant tooling such as Test Case Management, Static Code Analysis, Load testing Tools, Vulnerability Scanners and CI/CD Platforms.
· Solid experience using test frameworks and building and maintaining automated test suites.
· Deep understanding of how to apply the testing pyramid and the agile testing principles to modern software development.
· A clearly established vision on how to provide better metrics to help management reason on the cost of quality.
· Experienced working with test automation frameworks on the different testing pyramid layers.
· Experience with different approaches and phases of manual testing.
· Problem-solver and critical thinker.
· You have passion for continuous improvement. Critical view in current processes, always looking at how they can be improved.
· A passion for software development processes, methodologies and technologies.
· Experience dealing with Business, Management and Technology stakeholders.
· Effective communicator (oral/written English).
