Scrum Master for Engine Controls & Diagnostics

Scrum Master for Engine Controls & Diagnostics

Arbetsbeskrivning

Who are we?
Volvo Cars and Geely are undertaking a significant industrial collaboration as they merge their combustion engine operations into a stand-alone business in order to establish a new global supplier that will seek to develop next-generation combustion engines and hybrid powertrains. This is done in several steps towards a standalone company within the Geely group. At the moment the company is operating under the name PowerTrain Engineering Sweden (PES), which is fully owned by Volvo Cars. The new organization will develop technologically advanced and efficient combustion engines and hybrid powertrains for Volvo Cars, Geely Auto, and other world-wide players in the automotive industry. The new stand-alone business can also supply third-party manufacturers, providing exciting growth opportunities.

Within R&D, the ART Engine Controls & Diagnostics is responsible for combustion engine control and diagnostics software, and its calibration for hybrid powertrains. We lead the development of robust control solutions. We launch hundreds of variants of production files every year and the work we perform has a major impact on product quality, reliability, and legal compliance. Within Engine Controls & Diagnostics, the Thermal & Fluids teams are responsible for optimized control and calibration of thermal models, thermal coordinators, thermal protection, fuel control, valve train control, and oil pressure regulation for all hybrid powertrains. We are data-driven, strive for automated processes, and we develop, maintain, and deploy our high-quality software. We’re collecting and evaluating large data, calibrating and optimizing in the most efficient way. This position is challenging, fun and diverse, and we are a highly motivated group that enjoys working together on complex technology challenges!
