Senior BIM-Coordinator

The Senior BIM Coordinator will lead our VDC-team and work directly with project teams to assist the projects delivery throughout design and construction utilizing Building Information Modeling. S/He is responsible for planning, executing, and closing out of BIM deliverables at the project specific level.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support a team of up to 6 BIM coordinators and VDC technicians.
- Manage BIM process on specific projects throughout preconstruction and construction
- Develop and execute Project Specific BIM plans
- Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models for specific projects for use during preconstruction and construction
- Analyze models provided by Architects and Design Engineers & adjust for internal use in Estimating and Construction Operations
- Utilize models to support Estimating
- Create 4D visualizations to communicate Schedule and sequence of work
- Utilize models to support Construction Operations
- Develop and maintain our process.


Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience:

- You have 10+ years of experience in the building design and/or construction industry with minimum 5 year direct BIM/VDC responsibilities preferred
- Experience with ARCHICAD and/or Revit is required
- Prefabrication/Modularization Experience is required
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad is required
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office is required
- Experience with Tekla, Vico, Solibri, Enscape, is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in both Swedish and English is required.
