Volvo Car Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist for software download and over-the-air capabilities with responsibility for setting up tool-set and processes for extracting data and analysing customer behaviour related to vehicle software.

You will be a key person in a global organization with a clear vision to provide competitive advantage from Product Creation and Industrial Digital. You will as part of the Vehicle Software & Installation department be responsible for enabling configuration & development of a vehicle and its software, by offering continuous updates of in-car software through dealers, in plants & over-the-air direct to consumer.
You will work with collecting, analysing and interpreting extremely large amounts of data to develop reports, hypotheses, making inferences and analysis of vehicle software and customer behaviour.

What you’ll do
This is a vital role with high focus on documentation and visualization skills and strong ability to communicate complex aspects within the area of data science. The everyday work is directly connected to secure the portfolio content and roadmap by understanding the challenges and business needs aligned with our strategy.
You will work with the following focus areas;
Capabilities of vehicle software with end to end vehicle software development.
Development of statistical learning and predictive models.
Analysis of usage and failure rate of vehicle software by multiple interfaces.
Requirement gathering with focus on gathering and analysing data, using various types of analytics and reporting tools to detect patterns, trends and relationships in data sets. 

You and your skills
Required qualifications - we believe you have an IT University degree or equivalent working experience.
You have completed Data Analyst/Science training and have experience in process & tools such as Power BI, Microstrategy, Tableau, SQL, Oracle, Python.
We are looking for someone with an agile understanding and mind-set with experience and ability to mentor and coach peers.
