Senior software engineer till storkund i Malmö

A global retailer is now looking for a senior software engineer to join a team responsible for both existing IT products and as well as a coming new product automating the optimal recovery decision for all items returned worldwide. The team is working according to agile principles in software development and you will be part of a cross functional development team located in Malmö. However, the team is currently working from home due to the pandemic.

As a senior software engineer, your main responsibilities will include: Being accountable for delivering quality software quickly, reliably, and safely to production.
Understanding customer need, prioritize according to benefit and impact and aim to build highly efficient IT products for the retail business.
Working closely together with other software engineers and cross functions to produce all required design specifications and ensure that digital products work smoothly together and fulfill business needs.
Applying and adhere to good practice software engineering practices (e.g. DRY principles, TDD and BDD, continuous integration, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews) in an agile development approach.
Providing support and guidance as needed to other engineers within the development team encouraging good practices, as well as creating an environment based on trust and cooperation.
 
You are a back-end software engineer with solid experience from .NET Core 5.0 on cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud. You have experience from Html, JavaScript and CSS. Moreover, you have worked with Kubernetes for an efficient automated application deployment. CI/CD experience for cloud solutions is very valuable for this assignment. As a person you have a proven ability to develop high quality code using and applying good practices. You have a curious nature and actively dare to try out new methods, digital solutions and processes to improve performance. You will be empowered to work agile and through continuous improvement as a software engineer.
