ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior buyer and Segment Leader for Frame rails & Cab tilt systems, you will be taking the lead in driving our Frame rails & Cab tilt systems business. Your purchasing responsibilities will be focusing on areas such as:
Own and develop the segment strategy, consolidate inputs from a global network of buyers, and ensure cross functional alignment
Be an expert on the related segment, defining the purchasing strategies, sourcing and managing suppliers, in link with industrial and technical roadmaps
Forecast cost evolution for your scope, implement agreements, secure competitiveness and cost levels in line with the market
Monitor your Supply Chain, identify and mitigate risks in cooperation with internal stakeholders (Quality, Manufacturing & many others)
Bring innovation in your scope and actively contribute to the VOLVO Transformation & Sustainable journey

This position will be located either in Gothenburg, Sweden or in Lyon, France.
