Statistical Programmer

We are looking for a statistical programmer to join the very small company and help to drive the daily business of statistical programming. As a statistical programmer, you are expected to be a stand-alone programmer working on your own with input from a project description, study protocol or other similar instructions. You are also expected to have direct communications with some of the customers. It is important to understand and comply with the tight deadlines in various projects.

What you'll do:

Perform statistical analyses and data management programming on small and large sets of data according to instructions given in each of the projects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams of medical advisors, physicians, project leaders, product owners, regulatory advisors and others.

Who you are:

You have a PhD in Engineering, Statistics or a quantitative field with expertise in SPSS, MATLAB, C++, R or other scripting languages.
You have a deep understanding for numbers, as well as a strong business sense.

You have the technical competence to perform more advanced analytics:
Strong acumen for coding
Analytics tools experience (such as Pandas, R, SPSS, SQL, or Hadoop)
Experience performing analysis with large datasets
You are an effective communicator who values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.

You are willing to meet with customers
You have very good communication skills in both verbal and written English
High interest to work in the field of medical research
