The Strategic Procurement department is looking for you, an experienced Strategic Purchaser, ready to drive efficiency and grow with us.
About the role
ASSA ABLOY Opening Solution Scandinavia is offering a broad and inspiring role as a Strategic Purchaser for Direct Materials. The strategic procurement department is organized in category streams. This means you will have an end-to-end sourcing responsibility for your category that extends throughout the Scandinavian region. The work takes place in close collaboration with EMEA's sourcing teams and with other functions within Scandinavia, mainly Material Management, Quality, R&D and Product Management.
As a Direct Purchaser you will also play an important role regarding the development and implementation of our processes and policies. This role will preferable be located in Mölnlycke, Eskilstuna or Stockholm. The role will include:
· Deliver results on a number of purchasing KPIs for your category
· Develop strategy and action plans to achieve goals in your own category
· End-to-end optimization of suppliers and supply chain
· Take an active role as procurement representative in development projects
· Actively support Supply Chain and Quality department upon escalation
About you
We are looking for a true team player with belief that the best results are achieved together. As a person you are a self-starter, with a strong can-do attitude with great communications skills. You are genuinely passionate about procurement and technology. You can navigate comfortably in cross functional teams, inspire and collaborate as well as organize your work and administration on your own. We think you have excellent skills in purchasing tools and practices.
Has a MSc in Business Administration or Engineering Degree or equivalent education level
Has 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role
Preferably has experience in electronics / electromechanics
You have an analytical and strategic mindset and you like to do business
Is prepared to travel as required
You are fluent in one Scandinavian language as well as English
