Student worker - Legal

Nasdaq is looking for a student to work part-time around 13 hours/week within the Issuer Surveillance Team at the Stockholm office supporting the team in its daily work. Nasdaq's Surveillance organization is responsible for monitoring issuers' and trading participants' compliance with the Exchange rules and other relevant regulations and to ensure that an orderly trading and price formation is upheld. The surveillance function has the fundamental objective to ensure that the market's confidence in the Exchange is maintained.

The Issuer Surveillance Team handles the listing processes and the regulatory approvals for admission to trading on the Nasdaq Stockholm markets. We supervise the on-going compliance by the issuers; disclosure obligations in particular but also compliance with, for example, takeover rules and good practice on the securities market. Furthermore, we are highly involved in the development of the Exchange rules and as experts in legislative working groups. You will support the team in all areas above and handle a number of standardized tasks independently.

In order to be successful we believe that you have:



· basic understanding of, and a genuine interest in, the financial markets and related regulation,

· excellent writing and communication skills, both in Swedish and English, and

· both integrity and great interpersonal skills

· a student pursuing a degree in Law or Finance with a couple of years to graduation,

· structured and organized, with attention to details,
