AD & ADAS Platform System verification Radar
Our Unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of ambitious and highly skilled engineers and is responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation,
Verification and validation of current and future customer offers in our cars.
Within our ART Autonomous Drive & Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform, we develop the foundation for our functions. We lead the development of our components for example Lidar, Radar, Cameras and ultrasonic sensors and integrate the system and into a complete platform that we can build our functions on.
At Radar & Ultrasonic sensors we are three agile teams working close together with suppliers and other teams to specify, integrate and verify our sensor solutions. We are now looking for a developer to our radar team.
What you will do
We are now looking for a team player, to take part in our agile development team that is leading the development for our radar sensors. Your focus will be Sensor Performance verification, System verification and analysis in our HIL and SIL (Hardware/Software in the Loop) where you will drive the work to implement our testcases in our automatized test environment as well as our own team environment and cars. You will create reports, present conclusions and share recommendations based on test results. Together with the team you will continually develop test cases and test environments.

Who are You?
We see that you have experience from relevant Volvo Cars product development processes and tools. You need experience from programming e.g. Python, have competence within radar domain, Vector tools; CANoe & CANalyser and knowledge regarding ISO26262 & ISO14229. It is great if you have experience from writing and executing test cases and analyzing and identifying faults, as well as experience from System engineering or Software design.
fluent in English both written and spoken and have knowledge within software and Hardware design the automotive sector. Driver`s license “B”, valid in EU and knowledge in Volvo Cars agile development is a meritorious.
