We’re growing quickly and looking for a driven System Architect who wants to work in our team, leading and defining the development and architecture of our banking platform – Vilja Platform.


Vilja Platform is the cloud solution that gives us the opportunity to ask our existing and future customers “What bank will you build?” and it incorporates our collected experiences from building and delivering premium banking solutions to the market for more than 12 years.


The role of System Architect requires a lot of personal engagement and drive, and an ability to visualize solutions in a wider context. You will listen to customer requirements, understand market trends, follow the technical evolution and keep abreast of the regulatory landscape that governs much of our customers’ businesses. An important part of your work is guiding the architectural roadmap of the platform so that we can get maximum benefit and leverage solutions across all product lines.


We think it is great if you have:
Strong communication skills;
Fluent in English.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science field;
Solid Java 8+ knowledge;
Practical experience with Play Framework or Spring Framework or Java EE;
Practical experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React;
Knowledge related to databases (SQL, ORM, NoSQL) and database engines (PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
Experience with Linux, bash, Docker and Kubernetes;
Good understanding of microservice architecture and design patters;
Application performance analysis and optimization skills;
Previous experience with FinTech related projects or industries are beneficial
