We are now recruiting the very best teachers to start a new IES school in Sigtuna that will open in August 2021.  We are searching for qualified teachers for a range of classes and subjects to help create a deeply meaningful and impactful working environment. Starting a school from the beginning means that you will be an influential part of creating the very foundation and traditions that the school will be based on for decades to come!   

We are looking for teachers who, like us, believe in giving students the opportunity to

realise their full potential, whatever their background. You must also be knowledgeable and  passionate about education. You will have the tools to create a calm, learning environment and differentiate your teaching to inspire all your students.  Furthermore, we are looking for teachers who are energetic, flexible and proactive.

We require:

- Current teaching license/registration with relevant higher education from outside

of Sweden or Swedish “lärarlegitimation” (TEFL/CELTA is not sufficient)

- English native speaker (Fluency in Swedish is not a requirement)

IES Sigtuna will be a F - 9 school (first year will be F - 8,  Kindergarten to Year 8) so we are looking for class teachers for F - 3 and subject teachers for Year 4 - 9.

IES Sigtuna is situated in a newly created green area in the Sigtuna municipality and boasts the historic and beautiful town of Sigtuna.
