Our Exciting Opportunity
Customer interest and expectations for product security and vulnerability assessment is growing, especially with the introduction of new Cloud-based products and solutions. As most companies today, Ericsson’s main focus is to ensure that new products and features are secure and resilient to cyber-attacks!
We are now looking for a Technology Specialist in the area RAN (Radio Access Network) Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Methods to ensure operational excellence, continuous development and improvement of VA Methods with focus on VA tools.
In this specialist position you will collaborate with other security organizations and programs within Ericsson.
You will
Contribute to strategy and roadmap for efficiency of the vulnerability test for ERS products and features, by using relevant tools
Provide specialist VA methods and tools knowledge and advice to the DNEW (Development unit Network) Security organization
Suggest tool improvements to DNEW VA community and define requirements for internal as well as external security tool’s vendors
Coordinate and be single point of contact towards external vendors for security tools
Propose tools to be used for Air and Fronthaul interfaces
Support automation activities
Contribute to efficient VA method and tools for PenTest/Red team test activities
Mentor and coach in security test area to increase competence in the VA teams
Participate in specific customer requested support activities (audits, demos, reports, etc.)
Initiate and lead research and university collaboration within this domain

To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, information security telecommunications or related technical area, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Security and VA Tool experience
Business understanding and customer insight
Experience with tool development
Communicate and work well within a team but also is a self-starter and can work independently
Share knowledge and excellent collaboration skills
Formulate strategies and concepts
A knack of Innovating, problem solving and service minded

Additional requirements, considered a plus:
Good understanding of software development according to secure coding practices
Any security certifications, such as OSCP, OSCE/OSEP, CISM or CISSP
