About the position
Perido is looking for a Tier 2 Engineer to our client Telia Company, a multinational telecommunications company and mobile network operator. This position is placed at their Division X-unit which are working with IoT and Data Insights with the aim to simplify life regarding digital services. This position is placed in Stockholm. Some travel to Division X’s HQ in Umeå may occur.
Your daily tasks
Here you’ll work with the service named “Smart Public Transport” and the 2nd line function which is about to be established. “SPT” revolves around different services which are needed for the public transport, here your skills in Linux OS will come great at hand. These are some of the key tasks for the position and other necessary information:
Take care of complex cases that are escalated from 1st line
Provide service for Telia’s services within SPT and answering questions
Contact with 1st line, DevOps team at Telia and the company that operates the IT-infrastructure.
Cases are received through ticket system and a teams’ channel
In-service training will be provided at start

Your qualifications
We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree in IT as well as a broad technical background with experience of working with complex software systems. It motivates you to solve problems which you do with great analytical skills and organization. Your structured way of working will also be important while working simultaneously with several different cases. As a person, you are service-oriented, communicative and enjoy working in closely together with internal and external parts.

Relevant university degree
5-10 years of relevant work experience
Great skills in Linux
Skills in public/private cloud (Azure, AWS, Red Hat OpenShift)
Scripting skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Contract type and hours
Full time. 6 months consulting assignment through Perido, thereafter permanent employment at Telia. Start in the beginning of December.
