Vehicle Property Owner for Repairability and Maintainability

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania's aim is to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system, creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society and the environment. The department Vehicle Service Information (YS) plays a central role in this journey by providing the information, tools and systems needed to maintain, diagnose, repair and upgrade the products in a qualitative and cost-effective manner.

Are you passionate about serviceability and the aftermarket? We are looking for a self-driven Vehicle Property Owner for Repairability and Maintainability, who has a customer-oriented mindset and strong leadership and communication skills.

Your tasks

As a Vehicle Property Owner for Repairability and Maintainability, you are ensuring that Scania's vehicles are competitive with respect to repairability and maintainability – and that the decided product strategy is executed properly. You will follow the development projects and set targets for repairability and maintainability, as well as report status, organise benchmark activities and build roadmaps. In addition, you provide guidance and expertise on trade-offs and property targets on component level, and challenge the R&D organisation when vehicle property targets not are reached.

You will work closely with Service Method Engineers and the Product Property Owner for Uptime. The full vehicle perspective is essential in your work, since different applications have different bodywork and needs. In the end, it is our mechanics and customers, who will evaluate how easy a Scania vehicle is to repair and maintain. Therefore, it will be important to meet these target groups and build up knowledge related to repairability and maintainability.

For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued success of Scania’s aftermarket business, as well as become visible within the organisation, since you will present at different project and management meetings, including meetings with Scania’s top managers.

Your profile

You have an engineering degree and it is advantageous if you have work experience from the service market including hands-on experience of how to repair and maintain a vehicle.

In addition, knowledge and experience in the following fields are a plus:

• Product development and product development processes

• Trucks and buses, such as their components and systems and special needs and requirements (driver's license for heavy vehicles is an advantage).
• Scania’s modular system

As a person, you are structured, communicative and service-minded and have a proven track record of drive and teamwork, but still able to work independently when needed. You are good at leading other people, previous leadership experience is an advantage.

We offer

We offer a healthy and inspiring work place, with respect for the individual, where you have great opportunities to shape your work and your future. Your personal and professional development is important and something we encourage and support.

In addition to personal and professional development opportunities, benefits  such as employee car, mutual bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more.
