Are you interested in being part of one of the new Business Unit teams based in Stockholm, developing the customer experience? We are looking for an experienced senior visual merchandiser to join the Divided Business Unit as Visual Concept Manager. As a Visual Concept Manager, you will be a key part in setting the strategy for the physical store channel in close collaboration with all functions within the Business Unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development of the Divided BU visual department with the aim to create an OMNI customer experience that is in line with our divided vision and customer promise.
Along with that. You, together with your team of visual merchandisers as well as our global Divided merchandiser, will set a plan that drives visual development to support achieving the sales and profits goals of the Business Unit. Your results will be seen by customers around the world – you can really make a difference!
As a candidate you should have proven visual merchandising experience, knowledge of the Divided customer and market trends, an interest in current fashion and strong brand understanding. Leadership experience is a valuable advantage.
You should be motivated by developing and improving visual presentation to create the best customer experience for customers around the globe, by being part of leading the Divided BU towards – "Winning back young women".
The job of a Visual Concept Manager comes with a lot of ownership, responsibility and fun! Your main responsibilities include;
Setting a strategic visual development strategy for all concepts with your Business Unit.
Secure visual merchandising is in-line with brand DNA, identity and company vision.
Increase sales performance within your Business Unit concepts by pro-actively initiating, testing and implementing commercial ideas.
Set the commercial plan per season, cross functionally within your Business Unit, aligning expectations and workload with Global Sales.
Create and develop the visual merchandising guidelines for your concepts.
Develop your visual team, actively increasing their knowledge in visual merchandising, commercial thinking and leadership.
Staying engaged with current fashion and the competition to develop garment presentation.
Seeking feedback from our different markets to develop presentation further to create the best customer offer.
To succeed in this role we believe you are a sales-minded, social, open, communicative and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. You also have/are:
A senior VM or VM management experience.
Proven leadership skills and past responsibility of managing teams.
Customer focused with a commercial mind-set.
Passionate and interested in fashion and retail.
Strong planning, organizing and prioritizing skills to manage a high workload
Strong communication skills (verbal & written), fluent English is a must.
This is a full time temporary position for 12 months based at the H&M Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden. Start date: 1st of June 2021.
