About the job
You’ll be joining a company that has set the foundation for growth, and you’ll lead our brand-new Employee Experience function, with the goal of taking our employee journey to a new level through cross-functional collaboration and a holistic view. As you also take the primary responsibility for our Talent Acquisition, you lead a forum of expertise, where everything from attracting executive candidates, to recruitment, introduction and succession planning are on the agenda. You oversee strategic planning and design of our employer branding and onboarding programs, as well as talent pooling, sourcing, assessment, and selection – ensuring that everything we do supports the company strategy. Sandvik is a decentralized organization and you work in close cooperation with business leaders and HR. Keeping up with market trends and best practices in the area of employee experience is important, and you share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels.
Being responsible for our Talent Acquisition, Performance & Engagement and Learning and Development, you’ll lead a small team of experts covering the full scope from executive recruitment and onboarding to learning- and performance management and offboarding. Together with your team, you continue driving improvement to take us to the next level, always in close cooperation with the business.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with Executive Vice President & Head of Human resources, and you’re a valued member of the HR Management team. You’ll be located in Stockholm or other Sandvik site in Sweden. Occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
We’re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge in the broad area of employee experience with focus on talent acquisition and employer branding, who have worked both strategically and operationally in a global environment for several years. You’re used to navigating in a decentralized organization with cross-functional collaborations and close contact with managers and HR, and you’re comfortable in presenting your cause to Executive Management and the Board. You’re also experienced in managing projects. We expect an interest in new digital solutions, and experience from using Workday is advantageous. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
You’re characterized by a structured, pragmatic and compliant way of working, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. With a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. In all of your work, you rely on strong stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.
