We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our Middle Office team

What will your essential responsibilities include?
You will ensure that the administrative pre- and post-bind processes are run efficiently and bring high-quality service to internal and external clients and colleagues, through for example:
· Accurate, efficient processing of complex global program and non-program accounts, always in compliance with our policies
· Implementation of new/renewed accounts (and mid-term validations where applicable), including controlling and monitoring premium collection thereof
· Efficient and professional interaction with various internal stakeholders, such as Underwriting, Claims, Accounting and offshore support teams, as well as external stakeholders, such as clients and brokers
You will report to the Nordic Operations Lead.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
· IT literacy, Microsoft Office package literacy as a minimum
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and preferably Swedish, Norwegian or Danish
· Previous experience in an underwriting support position, preferably from global program business
· Knowledge of at least one of our core business lines
· Well-developed social skills, ability to communicate and network with people on all levels
· Proactive approach
· Attention to detail
