We are currently recruiting for a Global Director Communications to our HQ in Gothenburg. This is a function that reports directly into the Chief People & Communications Officer, a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
This is a key role in the global Mölnlycke Health Care organization and the responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

Manage investor relations more proactively in alignment with our owners (Investor AB).
Activate public relations that build mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and the public with the objective to manage our organizations’ public image and reputation.
Execution of the business strategy through communication and interactions with employees at different levels to ensure it becomes relevant for them.
Position Mölnlycke as an employer of choice and strive for high engagement through effective and engaging communication through different channels.
Deploy state of the art digital tools and drive brand awareness around the world in collaboration with our Business Areas.
Be a trusted partner for senior leaders, the CEO, the chairman of the board and our owners, Investor AB.


The Global Director leads a seven direct reports. The total team counts fifteen people.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for driving internal communication strategies and the alignment on messages to ensure appropriate timing and consistent communication to employees, e.g. through intranet, townhalls, newsletters, internal social media, in collaboration with senior leaders.
Drive the CEO and Executive Leadership Team’s strategic external communication in line with corporate positioning to support our thought leadership, brand awareness, investor relations etc. through appropriate channels.
Responsible for creation of the annual Corporate Sustainability report and Annual report.
Be the owner of relevant communication tools, such the intranet, the corporate external website, social media channels.
Select and guide a global network of communication representatives in all countries and production sites.
Monitor and manage proactively Mölnlycke´s reputation on social media channels in an appropriate manner.
Critical member of the global crisis management team.
Measure, analyse and follow-up on KPIs to ensure effectiveness of performed communication assignments.
Lead, develop and attract team members in alignment with Mölnlycke´s Leadership Capabilities.

Competencies:
Strategic and tactic communication skills and competencies with the ability to build strong relationships
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management
Solid business acumen and understanding of our industry
Engaging leadership skills and demonstration of excellent teamwork
Sharp understanding of the importance of a Corporate Brand and its implications
Ability to ‘zoom in and zoom out’ with the appropriate level to detail.
Proven project management skills at global level
High level of trust, integrity, ethics and confidentiality
Role-models Mölnlycke´s high performance behaviors and leadership capabilities


Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant university degree
Relevant experience of at least 10 years of experience from communication, journalism or PR/IR -management in an international mid-size or large listed company
Fluent in Swedish and English
Savvy in utilizing social media, digital platforms and other channels
Experienced people manager
Proven leadership to navigate an organization through a major crisis
Seniority and presence to manage external media / press in a respectful and firm manner.
