Head of Online and Content - Volvo Energy

Arbetsbeskrivning

With new technologies and business models increasing in importance at high speed, the transportation and infrastructure industries are changing more and at higher pace than ever before. As the Volvo Group, we are accelerating to drive our industry forward also in these important areas. Do you want to join our journey and shape tomorrow’s society together with us?

Volvo Energy is our newest business area with the overarching purpose of supporting the Volvo Group’s transformation ambitions within electrification, sustainability, circularity, complete service offer, profitable growth and resilience.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as Head of Online and Content - Volvo Energy
You will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the early development of Volvo Energy together with the leadership team and a set of skilled and committed colleagues. Together we will work on solutions that will drive economically viable circularity and take us to a sustainable future. With high speed and agility, we will support the Volvo Group to meet and exceed customers’ expectations and thereby contribute to a society that we all want to live in.

You will make a difference
Your starting point will be to take the responsibility of the overall strategy, structure, content and postings for all digital internal and external channels. Your strong creative and inspiring writing skills will be key, as well as your technical skills in recording, editing and production of videos. As Social Media is a moving target, you constantly develop and engage to be on top of what is most attractive for our target group at the right moment. You will also play a significant role in coaching and supporting the Executive Leadership Team of Volvo Energy with content creation.

Making it a success for yourself and Volvo Energy
You will play an important strategic role in building strong engagement and high attractiveness through external SoMe channels – both internally within Volvo Group and externally. You are much aware of which stakeholders to follow to secure the right message at the right moment. You love to inspire colleagues to increase their utilization of digital communication tools and social media, but you are also fluent in the landscape of sustainability and the impacting factors it has.
You are basically always online because you burn for digitalization and are friends with algorithms, and you definitely know the power of being an influencer. The successful candidate is curious, creative and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset. In our team, we rely on you that you are on top of all online tools!
The successful candidate is always one step ahead. You thrive working on a number of different tasks in parallel with conflicting deadlines, but most of all, you are a positive team player with an unquestionable can-do attitude!
We can promise you great colleagues and some truly exciting opportunities. You will work in a global environment that is purpose-driven and value-based and that truly values diversity and inclusiveness. We will provide you with developmental prospects both professionally and personally. If our entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability and customer-focused mindset light your inner fire, we might be a great match!
The location for this position will be in our inspiring offices at CampX in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Qualifications required to be successful
University degree in Media and Communications or similar.
+5 years of business experience within online and content.
Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken.
