At LTE Mobile Broadband (MBB), we are currently looking for engineers to strengthen our Cross Functional Teams (XFTs) in Kista.
DU Radio strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We develop and maintain competitive, high-quality Radio products which give our customer solutions securing future growth. We currently develop GSM, WCDMA as well as LTE Radio Network solutions to operators all over the world.

The PDU LMR (LTE and Multi Standard RBS) is responsible for development, release and maintenance of LTE Radio Access Networks. The PDU is also responsible for the Multi Standard RBS node and will be implementing the layered architecture in the RBS 6000 evolution for Radio Networks.

RA MBB is responsible to drive product development end to end by having competence and capability to take on full feature responsibility i.e. enabling feature requirements to become fully implemented and verified, within the MBB requirement area. This includes product ownership of the LTE RBS baseband products and WCDMA RBS Generation 2 baseband products as well as responsibility for development plans and securing maintenance of the products.

RA MBB includes for example Scheduling and QoS features, carrier aggregation, MIMO, link adaptation and Coordinated MultiPoint (COMP) features. We are based in Stockholm (KI) with operations also in Gothenburg (LN) and Ottawa (OT).

All our development is based on agile cross functional teams (XFT). The XFTs have competence in systemization, SW design and verification as well as domain product competence in LTE products with focus on baseband.

We are currently looking for engineers to strengthen the LTE MBB XFTs in Kista.

Qualifications:

-Education: Master of Science or equivalent
-Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Radio access technologies (LTE, WCDMA/HSPA, GSM) within at least one of the functional areas systemization, SW design or verification within Baseband SW products or Radio Access Network system products.
-In SW design especially real time C-programming, embedded/DSP programming in multi/many core architecture and UML real time modeling is key to be successful in this role.
-The systemization tasks require good 3GPP radio access standardization knowledge, including radio access algorithms and radio access protocols.
-The Verification tasks require good knowledge of radio access features, test methodology, test tools and simulators on system as well as node level. All test cases and scenarios are automated, so good/excellent knowledge in JAVA, PERL, XML, Python languages, Lab view and frameworks is a must.
-You shall have broad knowledge about the Ericsson Multi Standard RBS products.
-Being able to move from detailed technical issues up to end to end level.
-Interest in the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working.
-Excellent presentation and writing skills.
-Good written and spoken English.
-Excellent cooperation skills.
