Unit Description:

PDU WCDMA & Multi Standard RAN (WMR) is responsible for the development, release and maintenance of WCDMA Networks. The PDU is also responsible for Multi Standard RAN for Radio Networks. Among our products are the RNC and RBS. The PDU is based in Stockholm (KI) with operations in Gothenburg (LN), Linköping (LI) and Nanjing (NJ).

WCDMA RBS Configuration & Cap (FJW/GH) is a unit within WMR and we work in all phases of development: technical outlook, through standardization, feature studies and performance in field with focus on WRBS.

We apply Agile and Lean methods and principles in our daily operations, and rely on team collective responsibility to complete studies according to an established backlog priority.

Job description:

We are now looking for HSPA and Multi-Standard RAN system developer to join the concept and feature study team. We are looking for a motivated and flexible person who truly believes in team work, is eager to learn and is capable of applying theoretical concepts to real-world product.

You will be working in the core of Ericsson product development and have the opportunity to grow your competence and establish a contact network among experienced colleagues.

Main activities and responsibilities as WRBS system developer:

- Developing WCDMA RBS configuration and configuration concepts and feature studies with respect to both HW/SW functions and performance both in single and MS standard.
- Developing WCDMA RBS with respect to new technology, keeping overall track of SW/HW performance/capacity for system improvement and optimisation
- Contribution to support Ericsson's WCDMA product strategy.

Qualifications

M.Sc. or equivalent competence:

- Competence in WCDMA RBS SW and HW architectures.
- Minimum 3 years mobile experience from WCDMA/CDMA/CDMA2000 product development or system design is a plus.
- Flexible and well organized.
- Good communication skills.
- Driving with the ability to lead teams with members from different organizations in different locations.
- Good written and spoken English.
