105199 - Strategic Product Manager

Join us and start working with Product Management for the EIN - Evolved IP Network solution, at BNET PAIB in Sweden!

We are currently looking for a Strategic Product Manager within the area of Evolved IP Network (EIN = MPBN + MBH + IP RAN). You will join a small but focused team working in an area which is getting increasingly important as higher bandwidths mobile broadband and converged networks are being launched throughout the world.

Your main work tasks will be to:

-Responsible for defining and balancing the EIN solution release content in terms of features and characteristics according to market/customer needs and Ericsson business requirements. Strengthening the solution with key & differentiating features.
-Drive the evolution of the solution (incl roadmap) and the network architecture including new technologies (SDN, IPoDWDM, Cloud etc), and align within BNET.
-Actively drive, manage and represent the solution release throughout the Product Lifecycle Management process (PLCM) and PD-decisions up to PD4.
-Actively support BUGS in developing and communicating necessary services.
-Proactively drive and support our Regions with customer opportunities and meetings, incl presenting Ericsson?s Evolved IP Network solution to customers in different parts of the world.
-Participate in Solution System Management activities, and have a very good cooperation and dialog with EIN resources working within DUIB Solutions (incl Network PIDS) and Tier2 organizations.
-Have a very good and close cooperation with relevant teams to make sales of EIN incl SSR and SP a success!

You will play an important role in an international environment, in order to grow and extend Ericsson?s IP role in the market.

Qualifications:

In order to work as a Product Manager with Evolved IP Network (EIN), the following competences are required:

-Proven ability to understand end-user/operator needs and the ability to transform them into solution and product features.
-Good knowledge and understanding of MPBN , MBH and IP RAN business solutions and integration points, and a very good knowledge of at least one of them (preferably MPBN).
-Very good knowledge of IP and Ethernet technologies, MPLS, IP routing and Virtual Private Networks
-Good knowledge of Operation & Maintenance applications, protocols and technologies
-Good knowledge of IP Network Security applications, methods and technologies
-Good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Mobile Soft Switch, Packet Core networks, IMS. Knowledge of additional area(s) is a plus
-Knowledge of one or more products in our portfolio: Ericsson SSR, SE (SmartEdge) and SP routers, Juniper firewalls, Extreme Networks switches
-Fluent in English language, knowledge of additional languages a plus
-Confident and experienced in customer/operator interaction e.g. integrity, presentation and communication skills.
-Ability to travel to customer meetings and workshops.
-Earlier experience of product management, sales support, technical sales support work and/or designing IP infrastructures is very valuable.
-M. Sc. academic degree or corresponding education.
