10696 - SCM in PDU Cloud System

Product Development Unit Cloud System is a new PDU within Development Unit Core&IMS (DUCI) and is in operation since June 1st 2013. Our mission is to secure the development and deployment of the Ericsson Cloud System releases to our customers. The major part of the development is done in Stockholm, Budapest, Aachen, Jorvas and New Jersey.

PDU Cloud System is an exiting place to be, we are in the establishment phase of both the organization and the product/ECS system and we believe in and encourage creativity, innovation, dedication and team spirit to achieve results.

We believe in flow efficiency, transparency and continuous learning as key enablers for our continous transformation towards Lean and Agile development principles.

We are currently looking for a Software Configuration Manager with a developer/technical profile to drive and cover the following responsibilities:

- control the baseline for building the product
- implement and communicate guidelines for branching, tagging etc
- assist in implementing build procedures for manual builds as well as automatic builds for Continous Integration
- communicate and perform official builds until automatic build procedure is implemented
- lead the SCM guild
- the responsibilities covers all sites and products within the ECS system
- Deep Git knowledge
- Linux shell scripting
- Ericsson product numbering and revision handling
- Communication and people skills
- A strong drive to never let faulty builds reach the customer
- A strong drive to always being able to identify the exact source code and basline for any given product delivery
