12072 - Product Quality Leader

The Product Quality Leader (PQL), act as a global quality leader for a given product, product family or platform within Supply throughout the whole product life cycle. The PQL leads a cross-functional quality improvement team to fulfill defined and established yield, claim and repair targets.

PQL reports to the SuPM, Project Manager and other stakeholders.

Main accountability/responsibility

Define the product quality assurance approach and scope of execution projects. Be a member of the execution project core team.
Product and process quality management: Drive fulfilment of product/process quality assurance activities throughout the project and visualize status in a quality assurance card. Thus assure that there are no weak links in the whole quality chain (sourcing, design, production and test)

Lead root cause analysis when required and occasionally join task force teams. Support the project with six sigma, reliability and robust design methods.

Driver for Time to corrective action (T2CA) initial deliveries: Secure that the claims analysis process starts as quickly as possible and initiate a fast and effective return flow of faulty units.

Project quality management:
- Set up Project scorecard and follow-up Quality KPI´s in the project.
- Act as a Product Quality representative at key milestones.
- Responsibility for FRAG governance
- Secure Target fulfilment
- Review yearly Quality targets
- Lead the global quality improvement team, plan and prioritize its activities based on the product performance target settings.
- Perform regularly meetings with all production sites for the designated products in order to collect information, create new activities and follow up progress on activities.
- Global yield performance reports are performed regularly basis and claims reports on a regularly basis to the stakeholders at supply, design and sites according to set reporting format.
